I. Etiquette
- As a Radiant
Knight, you are a representative
of the honor of the Order. When situations of
conflict arise, they shall
immediately be dealt with calmly and honorably, the path of anger
leads to the dark side.
- When an opponent's
saber is lowered, he or she is at
peace, and may therefore not be
attacked.
In effect, all jedi shall allow
peaceful jedi to return to
correct dueling position
unhindered.
- Please refrain
from profanity and vulgarity while participating in
RK events, as it is both
distracting and offensive to the
participants.
- In Capture the
Flag matches, rounds must be
fought in full, to the
death before
health is gathered by either
side. Once
the round is complete, the winner
may leave to recover until
challenged again.
II. Membership
In
order to ensure the stability and
security of the order, the
membership candidate must be a personal acquaintance of an
existing member.
Upon
initiation, new members shall
receive a number, callsign, saber
color, and uniform
color for
proper identification within the
Order.
Membership
standing in the Order is permanent. An inactive member
retains his/her number, callsign
and saber color indefinitely and
shall always be honored as a
member of the Order.
III. Masters
Upon
induction into the Order, the
initiate shall be paired with a
suitable master, until the
apprentice proves capable of
standing alone, as determined by
the master. At this said time,
the student shall undergo the Trials deemed worthy of
proving the Journeyman rank, which are to take
place within the Jedi
Dojo and The
Trial, both
under the Phase-6
mod.
All
masters must have achieved twelve
(12) months of active standing in the Order before
taking an apprentice.
All
masters must have achieved Expert
(5) rank
before taking an apprentice.
Inactive
knights of Expert
(5) rank or
higher who have achieved twelve
(12) months of active standing in
the Order must complete an
additional three (3) months of
activity before
taking an apprentice.
A
master may not take more than one apprentice
simultaneously.
Beyond
the requisites, an apprentice
shall be matched with the master
deemed most
appropriate
to the apprentice. This decision
is based primarily on personality
and interest, and is conducted by
the most experienced and active
members of the Order.
IV. Communications
All
members of the Order are required
to currently have or download AOL
Instant Messenger, the primary means of
communication of the Order. In
turn, all members are given a
proper identification suited to
the system of the order to be
known only to those within the
Order.
A
quarterly newsletter is issued
via e-mail by Paladin containing
news and updates to the Order.
Any suggestions or requests shall
be directed to Paladin prior to
the month of issue. Newsletters
are issued on the last dates of
December, March, June, and
September.
All
match results/maps/durations are
to be directly communicated or e-mailed to Paladin by all
participants to verify your
participation in the match and
the accuracy of your results, directly
following the conclusion of the
match. Submissions received
later than 24 hours shall not be
noted.
All
members are required
to be present when
scheduled. If you can not attend
please e-mail all
members of the
order ahead of time. Three or
more unexcused absences will
result in notification, on the
fourth offense a reprimand will
be issued. Your schedule is
modifiable at any
time.
When a
formal challenge is issued, it must be
accepted, and
only if necessary, rescheduled.
You may not decline a challenge
outright. Decline of a
challenge will result in
reprimand!!!
V. Ranking
Every
member shall have an equal voice, regardless of
rank.
- There shall be
ranks within the order not
to induce competition but to
assist in identification and
match placement, and with each
rank is assigned an experience
point value:
4th Circle Master (9)
3rd Circle Master (8)
2nd Circle Master (7)
1st Circle Master (6)
Expert (5)
Craftsman (4)
Journeyman (3)
Novice (2)
Initiate (1)
- Each player shall
be awarded experience points
based on points earned in duels.
Experience point values are
calculated by dividing the
opponent's level value by his/her
own level value, then multiplying
this number times the number of
kills made by that player during
the duel.
-->For
Example: The score
between a journeyman/novice duel
is 12-9. The journeyman earns
(2/3)(12)=8 points, as the novice
earns (3/2)(9)=13.5 points. The
novice earns more experience as
his/her 9 kills on the journeyman
were far more difficult than were
the 12 kills on the novice by the
journeyman.
- Team
captains of Capture the Flag
(CTF) matches are determined by
senior status in the
Order, not by skill rank.
VI.
Games
- The duel is a one on one, head
to head challenge or exhibition
between two jedi. Duration is twenty
(20) minutes.
- The rotating
duel is a 3
player "king of the
mountain" match where the
two players left standing after
each kill enter combat. Duration
is thirty (30) minutes.
- The Free
For All (FFA) tournament is a
deathmatch between 3 to 12
players, all of which are always
involved, and may attack any
target, at any time. Duration is forty
(40) minutes
for 3-4 players, plus five (5)
minutes per
added player.
- The Team Capture
the Flag (CTF) tournament
is a cooperative match between
two teams of players. Duration is
forty (40) minutes for 3-5
members, fifty
(50) minutes for 6-7
members, and sixty
(60) minutes for 8+
members.
- Phase-6
(P6): In Phase-6,
the object of the game is to
score 6 hits off your opponent(s)
before being killed. When a hit
has been made on an opponent, the
player must advance his/her
lightsaber color by 1 to notify
the other players that a hit has
been made. Failure to
advance before re-attacking
renders the hit nil.
When all 6 colors have been
cycled through, signaling that 6
hits have been made, the player
received a point and all players
return to full health and the
base saber color. Phase-6
is a moderately paced game of
defense and endurance, testing
the intelligence of the shrewdest
jedi. Requirements:
Patch Commander, Glowblades 1.2
patch
- Spork:
In Spork, the object of
the game is to kill your
opponent(s) while resisting being
killed by your opponents.
Performance is evaluated by a
kills to deaths ratio, which
makes it as important to stay
alive as it is to kill your
rivals! Spork
is a fast paced game in emulation
of the Old Republic style of
lightsaber combat. It is the
ultimate test of strength and
agility for advanced players. Requirements:
Patch Commander, Spork (TM)
patch.
VII.

(5) consecutive swings, as well

highest level.
